We are continually surprised that the majority of homes we see online have had no thought into how the home will show online. Most of the listings we see have amateur, at best, photography. You’d think that a home that has wonderful landscaping work and great curb appeal would highlight those features in the photos – instead what we see is a large oversized garage photo. Or those that have bright and airy master bathrooms which exude natural light – you’ll never see it because all the photo shows are shadows and part of a bathtub. Now ask yourself this question Women (or if you’re a man reading this you can use your imagination)…Would you go out to a very important job interview or holiday party in your sweats, hair like you just rolled out of bed and makeup from the night before on? No! You’d take the time to polish yourself up and look your finest to grace everyone with your presence. So you ask yourself, why then would I allow my Real Estate Agent to miss the mark with my home? Today 90% of buyers are searching online for their new home. If your home doesn’t show well online or catch their attention it won’t be in their list of viewings the following weekend. There’s a reason our average days on market for selling homes is only 29 days…our last home for sale in Bellevue was under contract in just 6 days.
